fender structures
Sterk realises complete fender structures, often in combination with other foundation work. We offer the complete package: from prefabrication to installation (from the water) and finishing of the various components.
In Sterk Metaal’s welding hall, our welders prefabricate enormous structures: mooring posts, fenders, jetties, bollards and other made-to-measure mooring facilities. These are then transported by land or water. We use our own (coupling) pontoons and tugboats for this purpose, as well as for placing the constructions with one (or more) of our cranes.
Reference projects
Sterk Metaal has already realised the fender structures for many projects; often combined with foundation and water work. Sterk made all the fender structures for the replacement of a bridge in Dronrijp, for instance. The sheet piling for the quay and the land abutments, as well as the pipes for the fender structures were realised by Sterk en Sterk Waterwerken. This way you have a single party for designing, manufacturing and placement!
