Bracing frames for sheet piling constructions
Where a sheet pile construction cannot absorb the released force of water and/or soil, a bracing frame is often used. Usually this is a horizontal construction consisting of fenders and tubular piles/stamps. We prefabricate as much as possible in the large welding hall of Sterk Metaal. Our welders manufacture constructions of up to 40 metres in length and up to 25 tonnes in weight. Because our company is located by the water, we can transport the structures by ship.
Reference projects
Sterk has already realised hundreds of bracing frames, from design to implementation. From small stamping constructions for e.g. an extinguishing water tank or a sediment basin, up to huge structures where lengths of up to 55 meters had to be bridged.
